Stephanie Alcalde is a longtime resident of Central Florida with a passion for law that began in middle school. To help pursue her career goals early on, she attended the Law Magnet Program at Boone High School before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2014.

While in law school, Stephanie was actively involved in leadership and student organizations, serving on the Executive Board of both the Student Bar Association and the Hispanic American Law Student Association.

Stephanie has practiced family law in the Central Florida area for over a decade. After being admitted to The Florida Bar, she joined a family law firm before opening her own practice in 2016. Her experience includes handling contested and uncontested divorces, paternity actions, custody disputes, child support, alimony, modifications, domestic violence injunctions, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Stephanie is deeply committed to her community. Since high school, she has been involved with the Orange County Teen Court program, where she has served from a Jury Adviser and guest Judge. Professionally, Stephanie is an active member of multiple legal organizations. She has served on the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (OCBA YLS) Board from 2016 to 2024, including a term as President from 2022 to 2023. Since 2022, she has served on the Orange County Bar Association Executive Council. She is also a member of the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court, a member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida.
Stephanie has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers every year since 2020 and holds an AV® Distinguished™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell® for her legal professionalism and ethics.
