Stephanie N. Alcalde, Esq. is a family law attorney and Central Florida native. Her interest in law began in middle school and led her to the Law Magnet Program at Boone High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from the University of Central Florida. She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2014. In law school, she served on the Executive Boards of the Student Bar Association and the Hispanic American Law Student Association.
Stephanie has practiced family law in Central Florida for more than a decade. After her admission to The Florida Bar, she joined a family law firm, and she has led her own firm since 2016. She represents clients across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake Counties. Her cases include contested and uncontested divorce, paternity, custody, child support, alimony, modifications, restraining orders, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Since 2025, Stephanie has served as a part-time instructor in the paralegal program at Valencia College, where she helps prepare the next generation of legal professionals. Like the attorneys and judges who taught her Legal Studies courses at UCF, she brings her own practice experience into the classroom.

She served on the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Board from 2016 to 2024, including a term as President in 2022–2023.

She has served on the Orange County Bar Association Executive Council since 2022.

She serves on the Board of the Orange County Bar Association Foundation.

She is a member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida.

She has volunteered with the Orange County Teen Court program since high school, serving as a Jury Adviser and guest Judge.
In October 2026, the UCF Department of Legal Studies inducted Stephanie into its inaugural Legal Studies Hall of Fame as part of the department's 50th anniversary celebration. Super Lawyers has named her a Rising Star every year since she first received the honor in 2020. She also holds an AV® Distinguished™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.
